Registration

This process will require you to enter your Product Serial Number. This is attached to the bottom of your TSUNADO Alert Radio.

Registration will be available as from 1 January 2015.

Mining

Public Safety can be affected in many different ways.

Where mining activity is conducted near to populated areas, there can be issues with convenience in daily life. The sound and shock of the explosion can be upsetting to those un-prepared for the effect.

The TSUNADO Alert Radios provide a means to deliver a gentle warning as part of the firing sequence, to allow those residents nearby to be made aware of the  event, without it causing any startling effect.

The system is activated by the Firing Officer via a ruggedised tablet, that communicates directly and securely with the TSUNADO Central System, which then sends a signal  each individual Alert Radio.

Public Safety

Public Safety can be threatened at times, in many different ways.

Some of these are accidental, for example a tanker carrying toxic chemicals overturns, or it may be planned, for example controlled explosions near where the public live, or it may be criminal, for example where a person is discharging firearms in a public space.

The TSUNADO Alert Radios provide a means to deliver the warning alert as quickly as possible from the time authorities are aware of the  event.

Automation within the TSUNADO System is a key to the speed of delivery, with equipment that communicates directly and securely, reducing the time to activate each individual Alert Radio.

In remote regions coverage is provided by satellite transmission, meaning that all parts of the country are covered.

Tsunado System Technologies

The TSUNADO System is based on existing communications infra-structures, and well proven technologies.

This includes, but is not limited to FM Broadcast Radio, Satellite Broadcast Communications, Internet Communications, SSL Secure Socket technology and 2048 bit data encryption. Each TSUNADO Alert Radio contains a military grade encryption chip to ensure authenticity of the alerting and messaging system.

Our products are manufactured to meet the necessary standards for electrical safety, radio interference, and the system works within established radio spectrum allocation.

The FM Radio broadcasts use the Radio Data System (RDS) for signalling, and DIWA has an approved use of the RDS ODA capability.

DIWA has patented the unique features of the TSUNADO System.
